Got2b : Salt Spray Review

Hello,
Recently I have really been loving lots more hair products than normal (purely because I have actually tried out things that people have recommended)

But one that has stood out to me the most is a salt spray (originally I was recommended this by Zoe from Zoella) and I decided to go for a reasonably cheap one just so I could test it to see how much I liked it before I bought a better quality, more expensive one.
So I went for a brand called Got2b, which I just picked up from boots and I used it once and fell in love with it. I have very long straight hair which can get quite flat and boring and lose its volume throughout the day, I just use a few sprays then scrunch my hair and back comb it a little, it gives my hair great volume and overall makes my hair look so much more interesting!

I probably wouldn't suggest using this if your hair gets knotty really easily and that annoys you, because the salt does tend to make your hair a little knottier than normal.
Check out what it looked like in my hair :

Have you ever tried salt spray?
What are your favourite hair products at the moment?
I want to hear :)

MayBall and Exam Results

Hello :),
So I know Mayball was back at the beginning of July but nevertheless I thought you'd all like to see the photos from that.
Also as I mentioned in many previous posts; This one and this one  you should know I have just done my GCSE's (explained in one of the linked posts) and just recently I found out my results. I have to say I am very disappointed with some of them and was hoping for a lot better, however it is not the end of the world and I have got into the 6th form college of my choice and will be studying Maths, Psychology, Geography and English Language.

I bet you all just want me to get on and tell you, so here you go:
Maths- A (pleased)
PE- A (pleased)
Geography- B (disappointed, but was good enough)
English Lang- B ("")
Biology, physics & Chemistry- B (pleased)
English Lit- C (Very disappointed)
French- C (relieved I even got that)

So I will spend the next two years studying A levels ready for if/ when I go to university!

Turkey 2013 | Family Holiday

Hello Everyone!
Just last week my family and I scooted off to Marmaris in Turkey for a week. All four of my close family are very busy pretty much the whole time so we had to keep the holiday down to a week for work reasons (Plus we are going to Australia for two weeks over Christmas *eeeek*).
It was one of the most relaxing holidays I think I have ever been on, we literally didn't do anything all day everyday then just went shopping and sat in bars in the evenings.

We stayed in a hotel called 'The Grand Azur' (See Here), It was 5* and was sooo amazingly lovely and all the staff were really helpful and kind, I really do recommend going there (it was definitely the best hotel in the resort of Marmaris). We went half board so just had to pay for lunch and drinks which was really convenient as it meant we didn't have to leave the resort or even the hotel as it had a pool and beach bar.

The actual town of Marmaris was really quite disappointing, for all who are English the main road was basically a Turkish version of Blackpool (No offence intended to Blackpool). Everywhere you walked you were bombarded into restaurants and bars, and quite frankly by the end of the week became quite tiring.

I really recommend the hotel, but if you a planning on doing more than just relaxing then I wouldn't choose Marmaris, as there wasn't that much to do and it wasn't the best for shopping or bars/ restaurants etc.

EXAMS ARE OVER | Freedom

Helllllooooo,

So a while back I posted about exams and how I was unable to blog very much, but I have now finally finished them!! *hooooorrrraaaayyyy*

I had 15 exams in a period of two months so it was very intense but at least it's over now, just got to pray that my grades are good enough for where I want to go to sixth form!

I'm hoping to study Maths, Psychology, English lang and Geography at As/A2, so I guess next year will be pretty intense too.

For the duration of summer I am doing all sorts of things, these include:

  • May Ball
  • Trip to Isle of Wight (with friends)
  • Skulling course
  • Horse Riding clinic
  • Holiday to Turkey (with family)
  • Seeing Rihanna
  • Scope championship (Horse Riding)
So i'm sure its going to be packed full of great things and I won't get too bored.

I am going to try and start/ take part in the 30 day snap challenge, starting from tomorrow, so look forward to seeing new posts everyday :)

I Qualified for HOYS 2013

HOYS= Horse Of The Year Show

I went to Pyecombe, which is near Brighton in England, ready for the newcomer second rounds.
It is a three round competition that starts at 1.10m, My pony Hacker Jack (Jack) and I jumped clear around the first course and so had to jump the second round, this went up to about 1.15/1.20m and again he flew around this course, jumping everything with about a mile to spare, so we found ourselves into the third round, which was about 1.25m (a jump off for either a place at HOYS or a place at Scope). The top two people qualify for HOYS and the top 5 qualify for scope, with 19 in the jump off I had to push on if I wanted a chance to qualify.

I went in aiming for a clear, but me being competitive jumped clear over the first jumped then just went for it, I went clear and into 2nd place with three riders left to go.

The next pony in went into the lead so I lost my qualifying position, feeling pretty gutted about coming 3rd I went into the ring for prize presentation to be told to girl who won had already qualified, so the qualification was passed down to me.

I now cannot wait for october to compete at hoys!! it was a brilliant day.

Fitness | Running, Swimming, Dance and Horse Riding

I love this quote, because I really believe exercise is about the feeling you get from it rather than what you achieve from it.
This post is really about getting fit and ready to take on things, I am quite a fit and well person already as I horse ride pretty much everyday and I dance 3 times a week, but I find these don't give me the same satisfaction as going for a run or going for an hours swim.

So I dug out my mums old running shoes and got out and about, I live in a very rural area so have farm tracks and bridle ways to run around, I have been for two runs so far, both 2.5 miles long, I have to say it was hard work but it gave me such a satisfied feeling that i'm willing to carry on.

My mum, my sister and myself have also enrolled to a swimming center close to my house where every tuesday we will go and do an hour of swimming, In my childhood I have always found swimming difficult, but I am determined to get better at it and get fit at the same time!

What have all of you been doing ready for the summer?

If you really want to get fit I really recommend going for a run, it'll almost definitely be hard work but the satisfaction is totally worth it.

Exams | Life getting in the way

Hello peeeps..
As I have mentioned before I'm in the middle of my GCSE's (if you don't know what that is, click HERE where I explain it in a previous post) this means, this will be my last blog post until about july :(( which is very sad but, the next one will be extra long explaining how the exams went and about my Prom and everything so goodbye for now and I will miss you all very much.

Extra note: As I know, not very many people read my blog and I barely ever get comments on posts, but to me that's not what my blog is for, My blog is here so I can record my life in a very public open way and meet knew people and read other peopls blogs. It's a way of remembering all the cool things I did with my life, all the cool products I tried and enjoyed and all the blogs I read!

So even if absolutely nobody is here reading this, I don't care!!

Lots of lovee, have a good couple of months and good luck to anyone doing exams

see you soon (or speak soon ;))

London School of Modelling | Bootcamp day

Heeeeeeellllllooooo,

On Friday I was lucky enough to spend the day at London School Of Modelling after being asked to a bootcamp day.
It was a very fun filled day which involved me having a model coaching lesson with Lee Bridgman (A dancer from so you think you can dance 2011 and a model), you can find him on his website HERE. I also had my hair and makeup done by a great make up artist, and overall had a great time!

How I got to go:
So everyone knows of instagram, well I posted a photo of myself when I modelled for her A level photography work and I got a comment saying I should apply for this, they linked me to a page and I write my name and linked the same photo.
A week later I had a phone call inviting me to a day at LSM, I went along on friday and that was that.

Here are two out of about 80 photos that came out well:
Me with 'Romantic curls and a summer dress

My 'rock' style

I've been told that if I want to pursue this as a career then I need to start to build a portfolio and apply as freelance to castings and auditions etc.

I have been told that I am suited to 'commercial' type modelling as I am not tall enough for the runway (which is a shame as thats what I'd love to do) but i'm only 16 so I could still grow, I need to grow 3" to be tall enough!!

So I hope you all enjoyed this slightly different post :)

One Direction | 2013 Tour

Hi everyone,
Last Friday I went to watch the very incredible One Direction at the LG arena in Birmingham, it was one of the most amazing concerts I have ever been to and my seat was located very close to the middle stage, so I got some incredible photos :)

The support acts: First off was 'Camryn' now I can't say I was that impressed by her, however it used up some time while we got into it and warmed everybody up for 1D.
The next support act was '5 Seconds Of Summer', now before I went I had heard a bit about them, but they are an Australian band quite simular to One Direction. These seemed to please the crowd a lot more than 'Camryn' did! You can watch a video of them here.

So to the exciting bit, One Direction came on stage at 8.30 and opened the show with 'up all night', for anyone who doesn't know this is a song from their first album.
The show was going really really well and they were playing some songs from the first album then some of the new songs, and at one point they went of stage, I imagine for a break and a video was played on the screens, this was one of the funniest/ cutest videos of them I have ever seen, you can watch this video HERE, honest it's worth the watch!!!!
The next part of the concert was by far my favorite part, they were on a moving platform stage which moved all the way from the main stage to the middle stage, they then got off at the middle stage and sang their charity single 'one way or another' CLICK HERE RIGHT NOW to purchase the single, it's for a really amazing charity called 'Comic Relief'. Any way back to the middle stage, they were about 25m away from me and they looked at my friend and I and waved and got excited and it was all very perfect.

At the end of the concert my friend Shannon and I left slightly early and went around the back of the LG arena, to our surprise we found the boys tour bus and managed to see them all come out of the venue, get into their tour bus and leave. Now I know this is a very 'fangirly' thing to do, but right there on the night I felt like the biggest fan girl alive.

We eventually left Birmingham at around 12.30pm and got home to London area at about 1.30am.
This was honestly one of the best things ever and I recommend anyone who can get tickets to go!

A couple of my photos:

My friend Shannon and I

Hope all your Directioners out there enjoyed this post, please comment your experience of a 1D concert or another concert you have been to!

Valentines day

Yes, it has come again, the day where the majority of people become depressed at the fact they have no 'valentine', while the minority are receiving lovely gifts.

I am indeed one of those with no valentine but my view is that life is too short to be depressed about it, so I woke up and had some pancakes for breakfast- makes everything better every time.
I went home and in my room was a lovely chocolate heart from 'hotel chocolat' (insane chocolate shop) from my mummy and daddy! I was so pleased that I even felt the need to write this blog post about it!!!

I'm going to share with you 5 things to do on a lonely valentines day:-

1) make a big fat cake, and decorate it and then eat it, it's a great way to treat yourself.

The chocolate my lovely parents got me.
2) watch a film, turn all the lights off in your room (maybe leave some fairy lights on) and choose a really soppy film that makes you feel better.

3) go shopping!!!- you can never go wrong with a bit of shopping.

4) say yes to more things, if you are one of those people who for example, say no to going out with some friends, turn that around the more things you say yes to the better you feel about yourself.

5) write a 'to do' list, this is a great way to fill up time and it becomes quite relaxing, on your list you could have different chores or it could be things like 'sort out my makeup draw, organize it and put it back in'

I hope everybody has had a nice day, and not got too depressed :D

Sport| Horse Riding

As i'm sure many of you, or none of you are wondering; why I have 'sport' in my description, the answer to this is that I competitively compete at BSJA (British showjumping association).
I'm sorry if this post doesn't interest you or you don't like it, but it's just something i'd like to have a blog as its such a massive part of my life.

Starters: I've owned horses my whole life, my mum rides, my grandma rides and so on. So I first sat on a horse when I was 18 months and my sister and I shared our first pony when i was 2, after this riding wasn't really something I did until I was about 5. For my 5th birthday i got some riding lessons and after that I got my first proper pony and joined The Pony Club (sounds weird but search it and you'll see it's not). Soon after I got a second pony so I had one called Bluebell and one called Cheeky Charlie.

Throughout the years I've met some amazing friends and one of my best friends; Emily Procter.
I started mounted games on Charlie and then I moved onto my sisters pony Minnie Mouse, i did mounted games on her for two years qualifying for national junior championships in 2008 (a very successful year). Meanwhile I got another pony called Banner (who we still own today), he is a life safer, anybody who has ever owned a horse or knows about horses will understand when I say that I can't describe how much I love this pony! I did showjumping and cross country on him for about two years and started mounted games on him too, he however was extremely lively and it involved me learning how to do everything at a much faster pace, at this point I had moved into the senior section at mounted games!

In 2009 the senior A team (older members of mounted games) qualified for HOYS (Horse of the year show) somewhere that I had always dreamt of riding at, I very luckily got asked to go as part of the team being the '6th member' this meant i didn't ride but i got to have all the tracksuit and be part of all the 'backstage' stuff, this was an unforgettable memory! (Below is the HOYS team, me being the small midget on the left.)

I then carried on doing mounted games with banner for 2010 and 2011 qualifying for the senior national championships both years unluckily not qualifying for HOYS again!

In 2009 I got another pony called Whitney, she was a Jumping pony that I did lots of competing on, she was 12h2 and would jumped 1.05m with ease, which at the time was very large!

Late 2010 I got yet another pony called Destiny By now I had pursuaded my mum to let me join BJSA in the new year, so thats what we did, Destiny was a very lively pony who would bounce into every jump, I only had her for 3 months then I found her too much so sent her back to her owner.

In April 2011 I got a 14h1 pony called Tiptoes who I have only recently got rid of, she was an amazing pony who got me into bsja and got me jumping 1m and qualifying for blue chip championships and scope championships.

At the start of 2012 I got my current pony Hacker Jack off of my sister, he is one of the most talented 148s out there and he has taken me from jumping 1m to jumping 1m20 HOYS qualifiers! I may not have had luck on my side last year but hopefully this year we can give it another crack!

Currently I have taken on another pony called Blue Oasis (Teddy for short) who had some time off and now i'm bringing him back into work and he's going fantastically!

Photos in order:
Whitney Jumping at the riding club national championships 2009
Banner competing at a mounted games competition 2010
Destiny BSJA showjumping 2011
Tiptoes BSJA showjumping 2012
Hacker Jack BSJA showjumping 2012

Sorry about the length of this post it's basically my life story from 2004 onward!

Review | Favorite Moisturizers

Hola fellow bloggers,
recently i've really been enjoying lots of different moisturizers, so i thought i'd share them with you guys so you can enjoy soft skin too :)

**My Skin no shine mattifying moisture lotion**
This is a moisturizer that can be used for face and body so no need to have one for your face and one for your body, it lives up to 'mattifying' as its really dry and takes a few seconds to sink in so you don't have to wait ages to put clothes on (which you have to admit, is the worst part of moisturizing)!
I use this under my eyes as i get really dry patches from my concealer and it works a treat- i definitely recommend it!

**Tesco own Hand cream**
Lots of you will be put off at the fact its tesco own (for anybody who doesn't know, Tesco is a massive supermarket, probably the equivilant to Walmart in america)! I asked my mum to pick this up as something to keep in my bag as i get dermatitis on my hands so i have to constantly moisturize, and it works brilliantly! You only need a tiny amount as it sort of foams up. The only negative with this is that it takes quite a long time to sink in, so i wouldn't recommend putting it on just before bed!!

**The body shop strawberry body butter**
This smells amazing- if you like strawberry:)
It's not something i would recommend using daily, its more of a one off treat as it moisturizes for about 3 hours but then makes your skin really dry again! Rather than being really liquidy it's a moose type thing- so i suppose that's why its called body 'butter'.  If you have sensitive skin i wouldn't recommend this as its  fragrance is very strong!

**The body shop peach body butter**
Not going to go into too much detail as its very simular to the strawberry one!
The difference is the texture of it, this one is more like a moisturizer than body butter, it goes much further than the one above and in my opinion is a much nicer smell! (basically just dissed the one above... oops)

**Clean and clear deep cleansing lotion**
Ok, i understand this is not a moisturizer, but its so amazing i just had to put it in!
I apply this using normal cotton pads after using a face wipe to remove my make-up! although i've already used the face wipe, the amount of muck that comes off is immense! So really recommend this, its not overly priced either :)

**Nivea face, body, hands moisturizer**
This is like my savior,  it's plain and unscented so is really good if i have any rashes from make-up or just general dry skin! I use it every night after the clean and clear deep cleansing lotion, i use it on my face, legs and elbows (which sounds weird, but they get really dry). It leaves my skin so soft and by the morning any dry patches i had the night before, have gone :D

I hope you can enjoy some of these products too :)
